Dune Part 2 - Trailer Announcement
The goal was to pitch, capture and execute creative concepts that aligned with Warner Bros. campaign milestones for Dune, with the flexibility to be used for pre-launch, post-launch and evergreen purposes. Campaign was launched on Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Snapchat.
Wrote and pitched several motion concepts for the marketing shoot and won on a couple of them, shot the concepts in collaboration with the film cinematographers and the production agency. The fact that the cast of Dune was on the other side of the lens after so much work and consideration was an incredible experience.
The thumper is the most powerful tool used by the Fremen as one of the most critical devices responsible for bringing the worms to epic scenes of the film - the creative opportunities to use it as a connective tissue throughout the VFX and SFX were tangible. The choreography of the radial propulsion of the particles and the eclipse light source was timed nicely with the cast lighting cycle.
